Julie Graber is a photographer based in Seattle, WA. She began her career as a photojournalist working for newspapers in Santa Fe, NM, Raleigh, NC and Seattle, WA. Since 2004, Julie has lived in Seattle and worked as both a freelance photographer, artist and children’s art teacher.

In addition to photographing people, places and events, Julie has an artistic practice of working with found objects, written word and alternative processes to create mixed media work. Julie works with both traditional film and digital cameras in a variety of formats. Her fine art photography has focused on travels, family, the ephemeral quality of memory and the “extraordinary” of the everyday moment.
